Some of our services include
courses in Adult and Child Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with Automatic External Defibrillation (AED), Infant CPR, and
First Aid. Participants earn American Heart Association (AHA) certification while learning basic skills needed to react in
an emergency with the goal of helping to improve safety at work, at home, and at school.
We
also offer a workplace Public Access Defibrillation Program (PAD) that will give your staff the tools they need to provide
lifesaving interventions for victims of cardiac arrest. There have been numerous lawsuits awarded nationwide for a workplace
organization's failure to have an AED at the time of sudden cardiac arrest, however no lawsuit has ever been awarded for
the use of an AED. In a recent study, the AHA estimates that every year, 250,000 deaths in the United States are due to sudden
cardiac arrest with a majority of these cases occurring in the work place. AHA states that this number can be greatly reduced
with CPR skills and using an AED which is a device used to help restore normal heart function.
Cardiac Solutions staff works onsite with you to design a PAD program to fit the needs of your facility. Our Program
Coordinator will assist you with AED selection, use, office placement and reporting. Our medical director will oversee the
PAD program and develop an Emergency Response Plan catered to your facility or company. He will provide Quality Assurance
based on current NYS Department of Health and Food and Drug Administration requirements. Finally, Cardiac Solutions informs
the Department of Health, local EMS agencies, and hospitals of your facility or company's Emergency Plan and PAD Plan.
Our staff is comprised of Licenced Psysicians and NYS Emergency Medical Technicians and
Paramedics within the NYC 911 system with years of experience.
